ADI OREN
Adi Oren (b. 1989, New York, NY) is a painter living and working in New York City. Raised between the city and upstate, her practice explores themes of transformation, fluidity, and freedom, and the connections we share with the inner and outer world. She paints predominantly in acrylic and inks and more recently integrates found paper and textiles into her work. Adi Oren received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 2011. During the summer of 2021, she painted a large-scale outdoor mural in the center of Ellenville, NY, where her high-diving figures have become an emblem of renewal and freedom. Oren’s work is included in private and corporate collections, and continues to exhibit in New York and around the country.
