Michael Grohman

While Michael’s career was as a practicing lawyer and now law school professor, since childhood a camera has always been an appendage of his, starting with his Yashica. Michael received formal training at the International Center for Photography and studied under, and was inspired by, Aldo Sessa, Gilles Peress, Peter Turnley and Barron Rachman. Michael currently serves on the board of the Stanley Greene Foundation, an organization established in Stanley’s memory to support young and underserved photographers in developing their voice and career as a photographer.

Michael’s photographs have been exhibited in galleries in Brooklyn and Manhattan and are held in corporate and private collections. He is thrilled to have his first Berkshire exhibition at Gallerie 271.
