There is so much incredible art to see in the Berkshires this summer — and not all of it is housed in the major museums.
Smaller galleries can serve as refreshing alternatives to busy museums, and visiting them can be a perfect summer activity.
From sketches and drawings to felt sculptures, the small exhibitions happening around the county in July include many art forms, from artists big and small. Here are just a few of the many offerings we suggest stopping by:
‘INTIMACIES’
What: Peter Charlap embraces feedback from his paintings, allowing them to unfold and slowly reveal more about the human figure as he creates them.
